China is a country with a long history. From the earliest shell coins in the primitive society, to the copper coins that appeared in the feudal society, to the current paper currency, the development of currency has developed into an independent currency culture and an independent collection category. . Ancient coins not only represent the currency culture of modern China, but also reflect the rise and fall and vicissitudes of my country's modern history, economy, and finance, and have high artistic appreciation value and cultural relic value.

Half-open silver coin, also known as five-pointed or half-round silver coin. In the late Qing dynasty, Yunnan was first brought into circulation and used half-opened silver coins from Hubei before they were coined. In November 1907, the Yunnan Mint Branch (located in Qianju Street, Kunming City) approved to be established by the Qing government was completed and put into production, and Yunnan began to mint silver coins. After the success of the 1911 Yunnan Chongjiu Uprising, the Yunnan military government was established, and Cai E was the military governor. In order to raise military and administrative expenses, Fudian Bank was established to issue banknotes, and the Yunnan Mint Branch was changed to the Yunnan Mint to mint coins on its own. Due to insufficient casting materials, semi-open silver coins were cast exclusively.

It can be seen from this that the Qing government did not stipulate the unified weight, fineness, unit, etc. of the main coin at the beginning of the silver circle, and it did not abolish the silver two system. Therefore, all kinds of silver balls cast at that time can be used as the main coin in circulation. Currency usage. As a result, due to the differences in the level of economic development in various regions, these types of silver balls occupy different positions in the local markets.

Ancient coins, porcelain, calligraphy and painting have always been hotspots in the Chinese art market. Among them, because ancient coins are non-renewable, and the amount of minting was small at that time, they are extremely rare in the present world, and their collection value is immeasurable. However, collecting coins is not a simple science. It is necessary to identify the cultural value and the amount of coins in the world, and to find a good investment coin point, so that the value of the collection is also very high.
